Daytime Tour/Shanghai Tunnels/Portland Underground

This rare mid-afternoon tour begins with a short above-ground orientation followed by a tour of segments of the Portland Underground/Shanghai Tunnels (approximately 60 minutes, underneath four buildings) that was utilized for a number of activities such as the shanghaing of able-bodied men to be sold to sea captains; holding cells for keeping these men available 24/7; the 'breaking' of young women who were sold into white slavery; trap doors; crib room; etc.  Our organization has worked for decades to excavate, preserve, and restore these sections, and provide interested tour-goers with historically accurate, authentic information gleaned from years of exploration and dozens of interviews.
